My Good Traveler (WW-ish)

This is mostly a Wordless Wednesday :

  This is again from our trip to Branson, Missouri in J

une.   It was I believe 10 hours in the car, each way.  I have to say Mason did really good.  He would nap, or play with an iPod, color (he actually fell asleep doing so - see below), make his Cookie Monster dance, and mostly watch a portable DVD player.  We taped a bunch of his favorite shows for the trip and it helped so much!   

And down for the count when we got home from the vacation!   And this is a kid who never falls asleep anywhere but his bed or car.   He was so tired.

Mason the Hipster

So a few weeks ago my sister's sister (yeah, you read that right) came to town to visit.  And while she was her she took some photos of Mason that are some of my absolutely favorites ever.

She is the photographer so i can't any of the credit.  Except for making that adorable child. 

Also I love his outfit.  My husband calls it hipster-ish and says its gonna get Mason beat up.  But I don't care.  I love it.

Wordless(ish) Wednesday

Awhile ago we got to go to our local Children's Museum for free thanks to Wee Mason's Mom.  Yes we both are from Wisconsin, live about an hour or so away from each other, and have blond son's named Mason.  Anyways.  Here we are at the Museum and the park afterwards...where Mason (after two years) finally likes slides.  

Oh, Wednesday

Oh man, do I wish I was sleeping like this right now.  I know it may seem I have been blog slacking lately but in order to try and keep up home and child-wise, I am posting 3-4 times a week.  Or hopefully more  if there is more time.  But man does a 2 year suck the energy right out of you.  Plus all the TV watching I have to do...you can't believe the stress.  :)

Today Guss is off of work and Mason is going to get a haircut and then off to his 2 year doctor's appointment.  I always like these appointments to hear about how he is growing but I know he is getting shots which always sucks.  Plus I am nervous about the doctor being concerned about how much Mason doesn't talk.  2 year old are supposed to say at least 50 words.  Mason doesn't even say 10.  So I'm worried.  A lot.
