What did they DO to you? (4) A Love, A Kate, & A Jolie.

So awhile ago I started a series called "What did they DO to you?"  It's pretty much the horror that is Hollywood today.  Here are my other posts (here, here & here) which are
singers, actors/actresses, etc.  

*note:  I do feel bad for these people.   I'm sure they have a lot of pressure to look good or young, but in the end they are just making it worse*

Today the 3 women I focused on were Courtney Love, whom has been up front mostly about plastic surgery & drug use.  Then Kate Bosworth & Angelina Jolie and their weight fluctuation.   I am not by anyways saying they had an eating disorder, however they had dramatic weight changes.   Perhaps stress, illness, etc.  I can imagine the pressure on these actors/actresses to lose weight or be a certain size.

mostly known for being a rocker and being married to Kurt Cobain

Kate Bosworth - 

movie star, and I mostly know her from "Blue Crush" - actually a pretty decent movie

Angelina Jolie - 

no explanation really needed about who this is, right?

Wayne Newton

Bruce Jenner.   Or as people know him today, Kardashian's step dad

 Mickey Rourke .   Why did you have to do this to your face?

 Carrot Top.  I mean this actually terrifies me. 

And probably the most famous in plastic surgery history.  Michael Jackson.  

He used to so pretty good looking.

 So which one do you think is the worst?  Did I miss anyone?

Hi!  What's up?  Not much here.  (did that take you back to writing notes in school?)
So a while ago I posted the first part of this mini-series.  About what fame, entertainment industry, etc...does to some people.  

Some examples of what is happening to these girls/women?  Bad hair, makeup, drugs, plastic surgery, personal style, nutrition...

It's actually really sad about what it does to some of them, and how sometimes they feel the need to go to the extremes to stay relevant/beautiful.

Melissa Gilbert:  Known for being on "Little House on the Prairie" and current season of "Dancing With The Stars"
*fun fact- she had a house close to my husband's grandparents in Wisconsin*

Amy Winehouse:  Grammy Award winning singer, who unfortunately died way too early.  I love the song "Rehab" but always feel guilty for liking it...

Heidi Montag:  Known for being a reality "star" and all around attention whore.  (excuse the language) She was a pretty, wholesome looking girl who changed almost everything about herself!  I don't think she looks any better and the sad part is, she can never go back.

Oh and before I go, I had a dream about Jon Hamm last night (yummy) but I made him do his hair like on "Mad Men" so he would look more like Don Draper.  When I woke up I told myself not to be so picky next time...

What did they DO to you?!! (1)

So while doing some quality TV watching the other night, I got to thinking.  What happened to this girl?  Well this girl was Aubrey O'Day.  She is of Diddy/Puffy/Sean Combs Making the Band fame, and once was in a girl group "Danity Kane".  And I had the CD...actually wasn't too shabby.   

However this girl is now on the Celebrity Apprentice and she is labeled as a "Pop Star".  Um yah.  I really don't consider Aubrey a Pop Star.  She is no Britney or Lady Gaga.  

Anyways, on to what this post is really about.  What fame, entertainment industry, etc...does to some of these girls.  So once I started thinking, a lot actually came to mind so this is going to be a mini-series I do every week.

Megan Fox: (info- starred in "Hope & Faith", "Transformers" and is known as being super-hot...not my words)   I don't really believe Megan Fox had work done but I just think she had quite the dramatic change, which could just be the result of aging.)

*Rumor has it (not the Adele song, but that is now stuck my head) that she is expecting her first child.*
