Nothing.

That is what this post is about.  Nothing.  Really.

I really really really want it to be about a certain something.  But I am still too steamed up to not go crazy and say something I might regret.  It does involves ignorance of some certain people.  All I will say is, people are indeed allowed to believe what they want, post what they want, but I can disagree with you as well.  Also the way you say it ... well you don't have to be bitchy.

And I hate hypocrites.   HATE.

...I am learning control people...I am such an adult!!!

So back to nothing.

I was going to write this post on Friday....I procrastinated.  I was going to post about Fall TV but then realized everyone else was.  I will just have to update ya'll on what I stick with and what new shows suck.

I was going to post about last weekend, but that was a week ago. But for your information Katie & I went to visit my sister at her house. I will leave you with a few pictures, and a few quotes.

This is from Katie, while using the bathroom at a bar.

Katie: "Your lights out in the bathroom"

Random chick: "Oh I don't work here"

Katie: "Oh I thought you did because you
have tattoos on your arm"

Haha...who says that?!  I love it!
-------------------------

Then there is me...trying to kill a

gigantic spider that came out from

underneath Katie's pillow.

Katie: did you kill it? On a scale of 1-10?!

Me: 5.

I usually am terrified of spiders but

messing

with Katie was just too funny.

My sister Melissa & Katie.

I like this picture even though my neck looks just as thick as my face.

So anyways...to finish this post about nothing.  Here are some someecards.  (That's a mouthful)  I love them all.

Has nothing to do with what you believe in...but you know those annoying people.
That was last weekend.

Toodles Peaches.

P.S. if you have commented on my blog recently and I haven't gotten back to you, don't worry!  I am replying soon!

Creepy & New

So this is a repeat of somewhat.  I posted this back in September but I know many of you haven't seen it. (click link to see a few more.)

My family (mostly my dad & I) love going to antique malls and stores.  I love just walking around looking at all the stuff and buying a few things.

Some of it is awesome.

Some of it is ridiculously expensive.

Some of it is just plain creepy.  (See below)

One year ago my parents, Guss, and I went to Branson, Missouri and checked out some of these places.  I decided to show you some of the weird, and creepy.  Some of these items I can't believe anyone would want to buy.

I'm sorry but Barbie is looking a bit slutty.
I'm mostly posting this one because I use to have bears like this in my room when I was little.  Anyone else recognize them?
Someone must really love corn.
This seemed interesting but it cost over $200!!!  I want to know who buys that!
Creepy.   Makes me think of 'Goosebumps' from R.L. Stine...anyone else?
This is one of the most terrifying things I think I have ever seen.  Creepy dolls and then held together by a rubber band that looks like it has already killed Grandpa?  No thank you.

Well anyways, today is my second day and my first day alone at my new "mini-job".  Since I was 4 till the 8th grade I was in dance.   I had to take Ballet and Jazz but I always loved (and was good at) Tap.   Well the studio is in my hometown and then one 25 minutes away.  (45 minutes from my town now).  They needed someone to work the desk on Thursdays (my mom works the hometown one) so I agreed.  I get paid (including mileage) and it is only a few Thursdays a month.  Not too shabby.  And it gets me out of my house for a bit.  I just hate driving all that way.

Hope it all goes smoothly!!!

P.S.  I don't really like doing a lot of promoting but just thought I would throw it out again that I have a facebook page.   So if you want to 'like' it...I will not stop you.

Prost!!!

Books Ruin Blogging

At least for me.

I have been trying to hard to start blogging regularly but then I get into a book and nothing else matters.  Except for Mason (because I have to say that).  I recently discovered Jodi Picoult thanks to Katie, and she let me borrow a bunch of her books.  I just read The Pact and
Nineteen Minutes in about two days.  I would definitely recommend both.

I try to stop, but I can't put the book down if I'm really into it.  I actually stay up till like 3 am if I need to.  No bueno.

I also borrowed "One for the Money" by Jackie Evancho.  However I don't want to start until I get through all the other books on my reading list, because I know it is a long series and like to stay in order.  I have seen the movie though.

Other immediate books on my list are  "Revolutionary Road", "Atonement", "Water For Elephants", & "The Help".

Ok.  Just noticed they are also all movies too.  But I haven't seen any of them.

Have you seen any of these movies or read any of these books?  If one is exceptionally lame or a bad movie let me know so I don't waste my time!

Too many books to read, so little time.   Unless I run away and live in a hut and just read.
But then I would miss my son.  And the Internet.  And good food.  And wine.  Oh, and I suppose my husband.  Ugh.  Guess I'll just stay here.

How horrible.

- - - Tell me your thoughts please!!! - - - I will send you super good thoughts.  And you can be my friend.  Because let me tell ya...that is worth A LOT.  ;)

Let's get it going ...

So if you consider your week to start on Sunday like the calendar does, then mine has started out eh/ok.

My problem?  I go to bed way too late and hate the mornings.  So this is the actual conversation with my husband yesterday morning.
Guss:  Are you getting up?
Me:  Shut up.
Guss: Are you?
Me:  Shut up.
Guss: Are you still tired?
Me: Shut up.
(Did I mention that I am not a morning person?)

As annoying as he was my wonderful husband let me sleep till....3 PM!!!  OK I'm sure that sounds super lazy to you people but that is heaven.  Of course then the whole thing bites me the butt because I have to be up with  Mason Monday morning but it was glorious at the time.

Then the Packers lost.  That is all I will say about that.  Come talk to me Thursday about them.
Also my son has become a talking machine.  Now I don't know if any of you know this but his vocabulary hasn't been very good.  He is actually behind for a 2 year old.  The only words he would say is Mama, Dada, Bapa (Grandpa), Kitty, Baby, Hiya, and Bye.

Literally the past 3 days he has added this words to his vocabulary plus started copying us.  *Uh Oh...see below*
- Shovel
- Shoe
- Key
- Purse
- Bread
- Hair
- Please
- Thank You
- Why
- Who
- What
- And unfortunately when the Packers were losing yesterday my husband said S**t.  And Mason repeated him a few times.  Awesome.

He can also identify the letters T & Y and make noises like a cow, sheep, pig and duck.  Except when he quacks he sounds like he is hocking a lugie.

...To say I'm shocked is a complete understatement.  All along people said he didn't talk just because he didn't want to and one day he would just start sprouting words...and that's what he is doing

Oh and he is also obsessed with music.  I was playing songpop (play with me mlco5775) and I guessed Train's song "Drive By" in 1 second.  Mason did too...as soon as he heard the beat he started singing the song.

----------------------------------------

So to prove what kind of town I come from I had posted this status awhile ago.

And yesterday?  They had drive your tractor to Church day.  Yes.  I am serious.

And finally.  My boy (hope he doesn't mind that I call him that) Phillip Phillips is doing good.  His song "Home"  is/was featured on...
- American Family Insurance commercial
- Olympics.  The song for the Gymnastics team.
- And the movie trailer "Trouble With The Curve" starring Clint Eastwood, Justin Timberlake, and Amy Adams.

That's it.  Riveting stuff right there.

Have a great Monday lovies!!!

Check This Out . No Really .

Hello all.   How was your Labor Day weekend?  Mine was pretty good.  I went home for the weekend and some things never change. I fought with my sister (bruises to prove it), my mom told me I had dirty nails, and my dad gave me $1 and told me not to spend it all in one place.  Ok that last part isn't true...he gave me $5.

I got to see my super cute nieces - including Bob.  Actually her name is Madeleine.  My uncle called her Maddie (which my sister does not like) so he said he would just call her Bob.  And it stuck.  By then end of the weekend everyone was calling her Bob.  She is the cutest Bob in the whole world.

Well mostly I am here today to let you guys know about a awesome giveaway from my one of my favorite people Katie.  So you should really check her out...you won't regret it!
* note:  I am not entering this giveaway for fairness.  Just letting you know because it is pretty awesome. *
