TV Addiction Is A Real Thing

Well Well Well Monday...you have arrived again.   I'm okay with that because that means tomorrow is Tuesday and my son can go to school again and stop bugging me about going there.  Happy thoughts people.  :)

This should come as no shock that I love TV.  And I love summer for the obvious reasons but fall?   Football?  New TV Shows?  The ability to wear jeans without sweating your ass off.    Pretty nice.

Some returning shows I love:

Scandal

Modern Family
Nashville
Amazing Race
How I Met Your Mother

Criminal Minds (disturbing episode)
Parks and Rec - always funny
Law & Order: SVU

Some new shows I am looking forward to watching:

Sean Saves The World - I loved Jack from "Will & Grace"

New shows I am liking so far.

Anna Faris is crazy.  And funny.

Other news:

Right now my head is exploding about:

- Breaking Bad
- Dexter

And finally - LOVING

Orange is the New Black
* super crazy show but I love it.   And it grosses me out sometimes lol.

Anyways, this was the Packers bye weekend.   Sad face.   Can't wait till next week though!  Did your football team win this weekend??  Are you excited for the return of fall TV?  Any shows you watched that you loved?

Linking up today with the FABULOUS Leeann.

It's Still Summer Here at AT

First world problem?   Taking a blogging break during the summer means a crap ton of summer posts to post in the fall.  Not a big deal except I really miss Summer now.

You always want what you can't have...

My (non-alcohol drinking) Captain Morgan

I thought I could be "Planty" (that's like being crafty, right?) this summer.   This first plant we got is actually special to us.   Guss got one of these from a friend/family member when his dad passed.   But then Bailey was in his puppy age hechewed it up.   I knew how upset it made Guss because my parents actually still have a plant from my Grandpa's funeral in 1994 and know what it means to them, and how upset they would be if it got ruined.

Then it was time do actually plant some food products.  It looked so White Trash but I loved growing things.  (We had radishes, onions, cilantro, and other herbs)   Fall update - I didn't know when they are "done" so they all sat too long.  Boo.   Next year...next year.

Then this plant was only $.99 and it is called Buttered Popcorn because of how it looks while it is blooming.

Closer up.

Finally I bought these 3 separate flower plants (L, R & top) and put them in a free planter Guss won at work.  These are my favorite.

Then of course we had some family time this summer.  My sister and her daughters came to visit.  Juliana & Madeleine.

Obsessed with this baby  (who is no longer a baby).   She is seriously one of the cutest, funniest babies in the world.

And my baby!

Happy Weekend Lovies!   Thanks for putting up with my summer updates!

Catching Up With Branson

Hey, remember that time I went to Branson, Missouri 3 months ago?   Yeah I didn't think you would remember either.    But anyways here I am.  Sharing some pictures (mostly of Mason) of our trip.  Saying he loved it would be an understatement.

Relaxing like a boss.

Feeding the fishies.

Walking with Mama P & Bapa (my parents)

Shopping day.

Completed his first BIG puzzle.  (with a little help)

Pool time!!!

Have a great midweek :)

12 Years

It's hard to believe it's been 12 years.

I was a senior in High School in first hour Ceramics class when the History teacher came in and said a plane hit the World Trade Center.  I'm not going to lie, I had no idea what the WTC was and thought nothing of it except the look on my teacher's face was worry.   Then he came back to say the other building had been hit.   That's when it became real.   The rest of the day is a blur of going from class to class, watching the news and we literally did nothing else.   You never forget a day like that.

This is a day to remember those brave and unfortunate men and women who lost their lives

The Best Season Has Begun. ...

0-1.

It's only the first game.

The refs suck.

It's only the first game.

Ok.   I'm done.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Anyways.    If you haven't been around here for awhile...I love football especially the Green Bay Packers.  See here and here.

Kristine had this little link-up for today and since I love football like her - but not the Seahawks ...sorry Kristine - I love you :)  I thought I would do the same.

Also Leeann has this great link-up for Mondays that I thought I would participate in....Even though she is a Saints fan...(not as bad a Vikings fan.)

I think all I really want to do is talk about the Packers vs San Francisco 49ers game.

We (the Packers of course) were so close.   We played like crap (not going to lie) and we have no running game but we made this game as close as it could be.    I hope next time to be more interesting about the Packers in this link-up, but I love moping and wallowing in my sadness.

Also...Clay Matthews did do some good damage.  He may have girly hair but he's got the arms of a manly man :)

I know it's not Christmas but I like it.

So until then...Go Pack Go...Beat the Bengals next next week and the Redskins next week (oops) and let's pretend this didn't happen.

That is my sad, sad gossip for the Monday morning but my support for the Pack.  Please don't let me down this year.
