Fill It In

So it's been a while since I have linked up with Lauren for "Fill in the Blank Friday" but I am back for this Friday.  Just call this the week of link-ups!  But I have some good posts week!  So make sure you come back! 

1.   My most favorite "little thing" is     my son walking up to me just to give me a hug.   .

2.   I give anything to   go someone nice and warm right now      .

3.  I can't believe    someone i used to call my best friend isn't really acting like one right about now    .

4. The one thing I'd like to achieve today is    folding and putting away the laundry...ah the life of a Stay at Home Mom    .

5.  The last thing I want to do today is    fold and put away said laundry above :)  .

6.  If I were writing my own blank today, it would say:   ...the thing you can't get enough of is ________   .

7.  My favorite candle scent is    lilac (especially in the winter) or birthday cake from Kohl's...my friend calls it the Birthday Sex candle...I actually have no idea why  .

Sorry I had no post yesterday...I spent the day cleaning (no fun) and catching up on reading some blogs (a lot more fun than cleaning)  So now...

Fill it in with Lauren today!!!

1.   A nervous habit I have is     shaking my legs (even though I do that everyday) and picking at my cuticles   .

2.   Something that makes me sad is   bullying...recently read an article about a 10 year old that committed suicide because of bullying...how horrible and how do 10 years old know how to commit suicide!!!     .

3.  Today I am thankful for    my son who knows how to make me smile even when I'm mad at him and heat...I know not everyone has heat in their home    .

4. My favorite room in my house is    my living room where my big comfy couch and soft blanket are (oh and my tv)  .

5.  I can't stand    rude people...they are just everywhere nowadays  .

6.  If I had an extra $100 to spend on whatever I wanted today I would    actually buy Christmas presents for family. Mason is the only one getting presents this year from us because we are poor (wah wahhhh) .

7.  The last person I hung out with was    my friend Candis...we went to her mom's house and played scrabble for three hours...it wasn't too shabby :)  .

3.  Something that made me laugh this week was    my son when he gets hyper (there is screaming and climbing and jumping)   .

4. An item that is currently on my wish list is    a keyboard for my iPad2   .

5.  I am excited about    seeing my whole (and extended) family for a baby shower this Saturday .

6.  If I were a color I would be     mustard yellow...overlooked but coming back in style :) .

7.  My favorite way to spend a chilly fall day is by    watching TV with my family with some apple cider and wine .

Fill In Friday

Fill it in today with Lauren at 'The Little Things We Do'

1.   My favorite thing about this week was/is     I went grocery shopping with Mason and he didn't make a scene :)  .

2.   Colder weather makes me   pissy.  (sorry for my language) In Wisconsin our cold weather lasts half the year and really makes me mad     .

3.  Three things that make me terribly happy as of late are    my son saying "love you", thinking about Thanksgiving, getting a hug from a best friend   .

4. If I could only wear one kind of shoe for the rest of my life, I'd choose    hmmm I would say my Birkenstocks but they don't look good with nice things...so I'll say flats   .

5.  My personality type is    um don't know the formal names but I am shy until you get to know me and I have OCD .

6.  I have a serious problem resisting     wine  .

7.  My favorite color to wear is    grey, all I have are grey shirts or cardigans (which I looooove)  .

Fill It In Ya'll

1.   When I was a kid I wanted to be      a veterinarian    when I grew up.

2.   As an adult, my dream job would be   to work at an art museum     .

3.  W hen I was younger I wanted to be just like  Lucille Ball   .

4. The childhood Halloween costume that I remember most was when I was    Cinderella...I actually didn't wear it for Halloween because we were in Disney World but I got to wear it when I got back   .

5.  My favorite childhood toy was    my teddy bear, I got him for Christmas when I was 2 and I still have him .

6.  The time I got into the biggest amount of trouble when I was a kid was when   my mom told me not to touch this candle holder, so I did.  And I broke it.   .

7.  I get daily inspiration from    my son, TV, pinterest .

Friday Fill-In!

Linking up once again with Lauren for "Fill in the blank Friday!"

1.   Nothing says fall like      colorful trees, crunching leaves, football, and the smell of burnt leaves.

2.   My favorite autumnal tradition is   i don't have one yet, but we went to the pumpkin patch for the first time and now that Mason is old enough maybe that will be our new tradition      .

3.  My favorite fall treat is   not a big fan of pumpkin flavored stuff but i love hot apple cider, honey crisp apples, and specialty coffee drinks at Starbucks   .

4. Fall makes me think of    being cozy    because    I think of football Sunday's and being in sweatshirts and cuddling   .

5.  Autumn free form word association, go!    colors, trees, raking, pumpkins, cider .

6.  My go-to outfit in the fall is     jeans, sweatshirt and my converse shoes  .

7.  My favorite fall holiday is (Halloween or Thanksgiving)    Thanksgiving.  I am not too big into Halloween...never have been.  Now that I am an adult I got to a Halloween party (I will share my costume idea soon) but I love Thanksgiving. Great food and family.  I love it!

1.   Something popular that I can't stand/just don't "get" is      cake pops...i think they look weird and i don't understand why they are so popular .

2.   Something unpopular that I secretly love is    the smell of musty basements and skunk (i'm weird i know)      .

3.  When I've had a bad day I   like to take a walk (or be alone) followed up by a drink (or two)  .

4. I'd prefer    pasta    to    chocolate      any day.

5.  Something that makes me nervous is    my son running back and forth on the couch (he has already fallen off twice) .

6.  Something worth fighting for is     marriage (not trying to steal Lauren's answer here) but I think it's true.  I think people who get divorced after less than a year (not including abuse) aren't trying..it's a marriage, not a fling  .

7.  When people think of me, I hope they think    "she's a good person and really loves her family"  .

Fill In The Blank Friday

It's Friday!  I am so happy for this!

First off, I have my Internet back (squirrels chewed our outside line), I am pretty sure I had bouts of withdrawal.  Second, this weekend is jam packed with sports!  The Milwaukee Brewers are playing at home for the playoffs Saturday and Sunday, Wisconsin Badgers play, and then of course to top it off, Green Bay Packers play Sunday!

But First...It's time to link up with Lauren for Fill In the Blank Friday!

1.   My current obsession is      redesigning my blog...I am not the one doing it necessarily but I am still obsessing!  .

2.    That there is actually sun outside today    makes me happy.

3.  My greatest strength is   drinking more than the average guy (thank you Germany!) :)   .

4.  _Not being book smart   is my greatest weakness.

5.  My life is doing better. Lately it seems like all the bad stuff has happened at once but I am trying to be optimistic.

6.  In high school I was     in choir, in soccer, and co-captain of the cheerleading squad my senior year   .

7.  When I'm super tired    I don't make any sense when talking..and i actually slur my words  .
