Ok...Not that AA...But hope i got your attention.  

Actually I meant Awkward and Awesome.  This is my first time trying this out... (oh, I don't think this is a link up but one of my favorite bloggy friends Alana does it every Thursday)

awkward:

Going to my eye appointment and them asking if I have had any surgeries since my last visit.

Me:  I had a c-section

Tech:  *weird face*  Uh, I meant any eye surgeries.

Me: (embarrassed and thinking 'duh')

Also at my eye appointment - sitting in the tiny waiting room, right next to an Optometrists office, where I can hear (very loudly) the Dr and another worker's conversation.  Words that were said?  Eggs, Harvest, Cycle...you get the idea.

The plane scene on the last episode on Pretty Little Liars.  It was so weird, and so fake, and so unrealistic.  

My  husband asking me why I'm watching the TV with no sound.  But I was actually watching Switched at Birth.

My brother-in-law after too many beers.  (see evidence below)

My husband surprising me with flowers after having a bad few days.  This is really surprising because I think the last time I got flowers was almost 2 years ago.

The 'DrawSomething' App.  It's addicting and so much fun.  Below is my drawing - pretty impressive for an Art Major right.  (*sarcasm*)

Getting my swap goodies.  I will linking up next week to show what I got but it brightened my day getting the package.

Ellen "on" The Bachelor.  Ellen Degeneres made a clip of herself "on" the Bachelor a few weeks ago and after they had "The Women Tell All"  she did it again.  My favorite lines?  "I was not here for Ben, I mean let's face it, I was here for the girls" and "Well I can tell you Portia is a little upset, because she thought I was going to be on The Amazing Race'"

Mixed Bag

Hi.  How you doin'?  (Joey style).   This post is a whole lot of randomness.

I have been a bit frustrated lately with myself and blogging.  I have so many ideas and thoughts but I am having difficulty making sense of them.   Or putting them into words.  I'm going through a little thing personally and it is kind of taken over all of my thinking and clouding my thoughts.  So  I hope you all bear with me.  (and yes I did google to see if i needed to use bear/bare).  But here are a few things that made me happy recently.   

My son's eccentricities.  I love how he does this.

Sorry it is sideways.  I rotated it in Picnik and Windows but apparently it doesn't want to work.  However it says "Welcome to COUGAR TOWN. Your name isn't that great either."  I don't know if any of you watch this show but every new episode they have a comment about the name of the show.

  Originally the show was supposed to be about Courtney Cox's character being a "cougar" in the dating world.  But it turned into something completely different and now are stuck with the name.  I hear they have contemplated changing it but for some reasons have not.  I look forward to reading what the tag line says every week.  And this weeks definitely made me laugh.

So I was super giddy last night when I got this email.  Sherry from Young House Love added me to one of her circles!   If you don't read this super famous blog I would.  It is mostly DIY/Home Renovation but Sherry and her husband are so freaken funny.  And now we are BFF's.  (In my mind at least)

These guys aren't too bad looking.  Well at least if you come from Wisconsin they aren't.  I am so excited for baseball and happy Ryan Braun (right) will not be suspended.  Left is Aaron Rodgers (GB Packers QB).  And I just love him.

Anyone watch GCB?  I thought it was better than I was anticipating.  But it wasn't blow my mind good.  However I love this ecard.

Aaannnddd . . . Kick !

So I was going to link-up again for The Nail Files again today...but who I am kidding?  I'm lazy...so my nails are naked...but not for long.  I'll be back next Friday.

But I do have some pictures and mini-story for you today.  

So I was in dance for about 8 or 9 years and then I was a cheerleader.  Sometimes (I can't believe I am admitting this) I do random things around the house.  A few days ago I thought to myself "I wonder if I can still kick high?"  So I kicked, and Mason watched his mama be crazy.  But then he started "kicking" himself.  I put kicking in quotation marks because this child of mine "kicks" and he looks like a male dog marking his territory.  It's pretty hilarious.  Now when I say Kick he grabs something for balance and "kicks" (while saying 'kih! kih!)

But I think my favorite thing?  Is that randomly he will walk to a piece of furniture and lift his leg.  If he was my dog, we would be having some chats...but I like that he just wants to be like his mama. :)
