Movie Weekend

Hello!  Hope your weekend is going good.  Mine is not too shabby.  The weather is warm (63 degrees!!!), so I actually took Mason outside to play...of course it is  still a bit muddy and he likes to pretend to fall down so, it got a little messy. But still so much better than sitting around the house.

Well my husband is at work today, and I figured I kind of wanted a lazy weekend so I rented 4 movies I have been wanting to see.

These two I watched last night.

I really had high hopes for this one.  I think when I know it (or some of the actors) are Oscar nominated, I have high expectations.  I don't think this one was that great.  It wasn't boring...just not that good.
I also had heard so many good things about this movie.  Again, it was eh.  I thought the 2nd half of the movie was the best and of course I cried.

Tonight I will be watching these (along with Saturday Night Live)

My husband heard it sucks, I heard it was really good.  Guess we will see.  I'm really excited to watch it though.
I'm super excited about this because I am a sucker for tragic love stories.  So I hope this is a good one.

So, have you seen any of these movies?  do you disagree with my opinions of the first two?  (*note* these opinions are coming from a girl who thinks "Tommy Boy" is one of the best movies ever made")

After those hard days I had, I am starting to feel a lot better.  Lighter, even.  (unfortunately not physically)  But I'm looking forward to tomorrow and then a brand new week.   Love Lovies!

The only one of those movies I've seen is 50/50, and like you, I though it was "okay."

I love lazy weekends! Let me know how drive is, I'm a fan of Ryan Gosling :)

I do want to see the descendents! I've read a lot of reviews on it and it seems like my kind of movie.

I felt the same way about 50/50, and Drive was REALLY weird. I love me some Ryan Gosling, but I expected something way different than what it was.

Never heard of that last one! Let us know how it is!

I've been really wanting to see the Descendants... I hope I'm not disappointed. And I heard Drive is a let down.

Drive is really good - just gruesome! I can't wait to hear what you thought of it!

Happy Sunday, dear!

I haven't seen any of those, but I heard 50/50 was good. Your bcf also informed me that Drive was not a very good movie, you will have to let me know what you thought of it. The last movie you had on there looks really good!!
